Wooden Boat called these guys itinerant gypsy boatbuilders, and I think that pretty much nails it on the head. Andros Kypragoras (also my life partner) runs his own business, traveling with a caravan of highly skilled boat builders, doing major structural restoration of historic wooden vessels all over the country.
